Settings

Settings sits at the bottom of the left sidebar, next to Billing. It holds your profile, your notification preferences, and your account security.

Profile

FieldRules
Full nameCannot be empty, up to 200 characters
Company name2 to 100 characters, using letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, and periods only
EmailMust be a valid address. Disposable addresses are rejected

Save changes stays disabled until you edit one of the fields, and a note beside it lists what will be saved.

Changing your email address sends you back through verification

Saving a new address marks the account unverified, sends a verification email to the new address, and drops you straight onto the verification screen. Every page redirects there until you confirm, exactly as for a new account.

You can edit the address again while unverified, so a typo is recoverable.

If you signed in with Google or GitHub, your name and email are managed there. Both fields are read-only for social sign-ins, labelled Managed by Google or Managed by GitHub with a link straight to that provider's profile page, so you keep one source of truth for them. Company name stays editable on every account type.

Notifications

Marketing emails ("Receive updates about new features") is a working toggle. It reflects your current subscription status, is off until you turn it on, and saves as soon as you flip it, with no Save changes button.

"Email notifications" is coming soon

The Email notifications row ("Get notified about your uploads and when approaching storage limits") is marked Coming soon and is not active yet, so these emails are not sent today.

Until it ships, keep an eye on the usage cards on the Dashboard, which show your storage and egress against the trial caps. This is worth doing during the trial, where reaching a cap changes what the account can do. See Usage.

Security

Two-factor authentication, passkeys, recovery codes, and password changes all live in Settings under Security. Password is managed by your provider on Google and GitHub accounts, so no Change button appears.

See Account Security for the full walkthrough.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is handled by the team. Email support@fil.one and they will take it from there.
