Pricing
Fil One is priced at $4.99 / TB / month, with a $4.99 / month minimum. If you store less than 1 TB, you are billed the $4.99 minimum.
No egress fees, no per-request charges, no hidden costs.
How billing is calculated
Your bill is based on the average amount of data you store over the billing period:
- Stored bytes are sampled by a metering job that runs twice a day (around 07:00 and 19:00 UTC) and averaged across the billing period.
- Storage is charged at a single flat rate of $4.99 per TB per month, applied to your average usage, with a $4.99 / month minimum. Any period that works out to less than $4.99 is billed at the $4.99 minimum. There is no separate "first TB" tier — it is one linear rate plus a floor.
Storage is measured precisely and in decimal units (1 TB = 1,000 GB), so you are billed for what you actually store rather than being rounded up to the next whole TB.
Examples
Illustrative figures for a steady amount stored for the full month, at $4.99 per TB with the $4.99 monthly minimum applied:
| Average stored | Monthly bill |
|---|---|
| 500 GB | $4.99 (minimum applies) |
| 1 TB (1,000 GB) | ~$4.99 |
| 1.5 TB (1,500 GB) | ~$7.49 |
| 2 TB (2,000 GB) | ~$9.98 |
These figures are illustrative. Your invoice is the source of truth for exact amounts — open the Billing page in the dashboard to see your current usage and charges.
If the amount you store changes during the month, it is averaged first. For example, storing 2 TB for the first 10 days and 0.5 TB for the remaining 20 days averages to 1 TB, billed at $4.99 for that month.
